Welcome to Mandarin Counseling
The therapeutic experience can be very intimating and overwhelming for children and their parents, in which my goal is to reduce as much stress and anxiety as possible so that the referral behaviors can be addressed. I am passionate and dedicated to improving the mental health of children, adolescents and young adults. I seek to provide a non-threatening, playful, nurturing and enlightening environment to address our most difficult challenges. Using acknowledged and effective techniques, we will work together to regain balance in your life. I have had success treating depression, trauma, anxiety, behavioral issues, parent-child relationships and school related problems.
Children often display different mental health symptoms then adults, in which we would work as a team to figure out what is going on with your child and determine the best course of action. In my professional opinion, parent involvement in therapy is vital to your child’s success. I work with individuals and the entire family based on the presenting needs. I offer a safe, nurturing and relaxed environment for my clients to begin meeting their goals.
